About Wilder Foundation
The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, commonly known as the Wilder Foundation, is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The foundation was established by Amherst H. Wilder in 1906 with a mission to meet the needs of the vulnerable and underserved population in the east metro area. The Wilder Foundation operates in three primary areas: community services, research, and Wilder Center for Communities. The community services division offers a wide variety of programs and services to help low-income families, immigrants, refugees, and homeless individuals. Its research arm conducts studies and gathers data in various social services fields to develop solutions for complex social problems. The Wilder Center for Communities serves as a hub for community organizations and offers them resources to develop their capacity, build networks, and collaborate with other organizations.
