This month's product updates spotlight a huge milestone for Truv and introduce new features, expanded product functionality, education verification for public sector, and enhancements designed to make verifications faster, workflows more efficient, and everyday tasks easier for mortgage and public sector teams.
Truv Joins Checkr
Truv is joining Checkr, Inc. This next chapter brings together two companies with a shared belief that better decisions start with better information.
Together, Truv and Checkr will offer customers a more complete, consumer-permissioned verification experience, bringing identity, background, income, employment, and asset verification into one broader platform.
For our customers, that means more ways to verify what matters, with improved accuracy, and a simpler experience for making confident decisions.
We're excited for what's ahead and proud to join Checkr in building the future of verification.

Public Sector Updates
Truv's August release was centered on improving the client experience across all verification products.
- Education Verification Added to Orders Landing Page: Education verification now appears on the Orders landing page with other verification types, so clients can connect their school or education provider directly alongside wage earner income. This is customizable in Truv Templates once the product is enabled.
- Education Verification Added to Self-Certification Page: Connected education sources now display on the self-certification page, where clients can review enrollment type, enrolled-since date, and status before submitting. Certified records are labeled as such, clients can flag anything incorrect with "Report an issue," and the page confirms when the community engagement requirement has been met.
- New Document Upload Improvements: Following last month's launch of Truv's re-built Document Upload solution, we polished the flow, resulting in a 14.5% conversion rate improvement, meaning materially fewer clients abandon mid-upload and fewer cases stall waiting on documents.
Mortgage Lending Updates
Truv's recent enhancements give lenders greater control over order requests sent to borrowers with more automation options.
- Income Analysis via Documents is now live in Encompass: A loan officer or processor drops the borrower's pay stub and W2 into the eFolder, the same way they already handle income docs today. Encompass automatically triggers a Truv income analysis order, Truv reads the documents, parses the data, submits it to Freddie Mac's AIM Check API, and writes the completed report and Report ID back into Encompass. No manual service order. No extra clicks. Setup instructions are available in Truv Docs.
- Truv Template Supports Enable/Disable of Freddie AIM Check: The document upload feature is fully configurable per template: when toggled on with your Freddie seller ID, Truv generates an AIM Check report from the uploaded pay stubs and W2s and routes it to Freddie Mac's LPA for R&W relief on eligible income analysis.
- New Document Upload Improvements: Following last month's launch of Truv's re-built Document Upload solution, we polished the flow, resulting in a 14.5% conversion rate improvement, meaning more borrowers complete the upload without dropping off and fewer files are waiting on documents.
- VOA and DVOE Reports Downloadable in Encompass Expandable Menu: Previously, VOA and DVOE reports were not available to download from the expandable side bar view in Truv's Encompass orders page. Now, reports for asset verification and report-based employment verification are supported.
Truv Dashboard and Bridge Updates
- Improved Order Grouping: Orders are now grouped by end user in the Truv Dashboard Orders tab, allowing you to expand to see related orders. The system now uses prefetching on hover to create a smoother loading experience.
- Updated App Clip and Notifications: The App Clip flow for mobile devices was updated with improved instructions for users. Additionally, a new endpoint allows Truv customers to check if their end users are unsubscribed from notifications.
