About TNTP
TNTP, originally known as The New Teacher Project, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1997, the organization's mission is to ensure that students from underserved communities receive an excellent education through the development of effective teachers and school leaders. Initially focused on teacher recruitment and training, TNTP has since expanded to provide a wide range of services to schools and districts, including teacher coaching and evaluation, leadership development programs, and data analysis to inform decision-making.
