About University of Hawaii
The University of Hawaii is a public, co-educational research university system that is composed of ten campuses located throughout the six main islands of Hawaii. It was founded in 1907 as a land-grant college of agriculture and mechanical arts. Today, the university offers a diverse range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs in fields spanning the arts, sciences, humanities, business, law, medicine, and more. The system is comprised of three universities: the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, and the University of Hawaiʻi -West Oʻahu.
