How it works

Application submission

The operations team initiates the loan application through the Vesta UI.

Request verification

Navigate to the Income section, click Actions → Order Income Verification, and select Truv from the provider list.

Borrower notification

Borrowers receive email and SMS notifications. Customization is handled via Truv Dashboard Templates.

Automated data retrieval

Truv retrieves income and employment data and automatically populates it in Vesta.

Enabling the Integration

  • API Credentials — Obtain Truv sandbox and production API keys from the Truv Dashboard
  • Verification Provider — Enable Truv as a verification provider within Vesta’s admin settings
  • User Permissions — Ensure correct user permissions for placing orders and viewing results
  • Template Alignment — Coordinate template configuration for branding, document preferences, and fallback rules
Work with your Truv Customer Success Manager and Vesta technical contact for setup and testing.

Order a Verification

  1. Open the loan application in the Vesta Pipeline
  2. Ensure the borrower’s email and phone number are on file
  3. Navigate to the Incomes section
  4. Click Actions → Order Income Verification
  5. Select Truv as the provider and Credentials as the service option
  6. Check the employment records to verify
  7. Click Place Order — the borrower automatically receives an email and SMS to connect their payroll account via Truv Bridge

Retrieve Reports and Documents

  1. Access the Completed Verifications section after Truv completes the verification
  2. View verification details in the loan application
  3. Download verification reports with detailed income and employment information
  4. Attach reports directly to the loan application for underwriting access

Borrower Workflow

When verification is triggered, the borrower receives a secure link to connect their payroll or financial account. They authenticate via credentials or one-time passcode, and Truv delivers a structured report with attachments for lender review.
