About Tanana Chiefs Conference
Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) is a non-profit organization based in Fairbanks, Alaska, serving more than 30,000 Alaska Natives who reside in approximately 42 villages within the Interior Region of Alaska. It was established in 1962 as a result of the Indian Reorganization Act, and has since then been dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and self-determination of Alaska Natives through advocacy, service, and leadership. TCC provides a wide range of services to its member communities, including healthcare, behavioral health, community development, education, environmental conservation, tribal governance, and cultural preservation. Its healthcare programs include primary care clinics, dental clinics, behavioral health clinics, and a regional hospital. It also provides assistance in social services, public safety, and housing.
