The West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) is a public school district located in the western portion of Contra Costa County, California, United States. The district serves over 28,000 students in grades K-12, and covers the cities of Richmond, El Cerrito, San Pablo, Pinole, Hercules, and surrounding unincorporated areas. Established in 1965, WCCUSD is governed by a five-member Board of Education, which sets policies and oversees the Superintendent and other district officials.
