About Inland Empire Utilities Agency
Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) is a public agency that serves the areas of Chino, Chino Hills, Fontana, Montclair, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and San Bernardino County. IEUA was established in 1950 and has been providing water and wastewater services to its residents since then. The agency collects, treats, and disposes of wastewater for over 875,000 people and through its efforts, provides a reliable and sustainable supply of water to over 800,000 people in the region. Along with providing water and wastewater services, IEUA engages in various environmental initiatives, including distributing recycled water to customers for landscape irrigation, implementing conservation programs, and promoting environmentally friendly products and services. The agency has won several awards for its water-saving initiatives and its efforts to reduce carbon emissions. IEUA is governed by a board of directors consisting of five members elected by the people in the areas they serve for four-year terms. The agency is committed to providing high-quality water and wastewater services while also focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and conservation.
