US Home Systems, Inc. was a publicly-traded company headquartered in Plano, Texas. Founded in 2001, it was primarily engaged in designing, manufacturing, and installing home improvement products. The company’s primary focus was to provide kitchen and bathroom cabinet refacing services. It provided services to both new construction and replacement markets, partnering with homebuilders, contractors, and homeowners. The company operated through two main segments- Cabinet Refacing, and Walk-In Tub. The Cabinet Refacing segment primarily focused on manufacturing customized kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors, drawer fronts, moldings, and other accessories. The Walk-In Tub segment offered high-quality and energy-efficient tubs, showers, and related accessories that were tailored to the needs of seniors and people with disabilities. US Home Systems was acquired by The Home Depot in August 2012. After the acquisition, the company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Home Depot, and all of its operations were consolidated under the Home Services division. Following the acquisition, US Home Systems ceased to exist as a separate entity, and all of its assets and liabilities were transferred to the Home Depot.
