South Carolina State University (SCSU) is a public historically black university located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, United States. Founded in 1896 as a land-grant institution, SCSU is now accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in various fields of study.
